Nintendo Switch Now Has Over 1,800 Games

The Switch isn’t even two years old, and it has an obscene amount of games on it already.

The Switch is not even 2 years old (it reaches that mark on March 3 this year), but it’s already nearing 2,000 games. Perfectly Nintendo has been maintaining a full list of all releases on the Nintendo Switch across Japan, Europe, and North America, and currently, there are over 1,800 unique releases on the console. 1,868 to be specific—the console is surprisingly close to hitting the 2,000 mark already.

Of these, 1,702 of them are released North America, 1,689 in Europe, and 1,043 in Japan. 182 games have already come out for the Switch this year, which puts the rate of release at 4 games a day every day. Which is nuts.

At this pace, Switch will end up having the largest library of any Nintendo console ever, especially with Nintendo making conscious attempts to ensure the pace of indie game releases on the system does not dry up (and with them allegedly having a whole lot of their own games lined up for release on the system this year as well).
