Nintendo Switch Recommends Using UHS-I Or Higher Micro SD Cards

Ask your store what that means, they should know.

Nintendo is finally supporting the most high end technology and latest industry standards with the Nintendo Switch- it is a thoroughly modern system, and as such, it should play nice with any shiny new peripherals or tech that you may have.

Take storage, for example- it looks like the Switch is future proofed, and supports the latest standard when it comes to microSD cards. In their tour of the Nintendo Switch, its UI, and its features and functionality, GameXplain noted (via Reddit) that Nintendo apparently recommends a UHS-1 or higher SD card for the Switch- which are the latest, highest standard SD cards that are currently available.

This is good to know, because it shows us that Nintendo has actually future proofed this device, unlike what the case was with the Wii U or even the 3DS. The Nintendo Switch launches worldwide on March 3. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more Switch coverage.
