Nintendo’s upcoming new platform Switch apparently has a price point in the UK. According to LetsPlayVideoGames and sources close to retailer GAME, the basic model will cost £199.99 while the premium model will retail for £249.99. The price of a Switch Pro controller will be £39.99
The premium model will apparently feature larger internal storage and a bundled game, though the game itself hasn’t been confirmed at this point.
Here’s the interesting point though: Nintendo is apparently looking for the price to be a direct conversion across regions, further enforcing the region-free aspects of it. That means US prices could be somewhere around $250 for the basic model and $300 for the premium model. That’s not a bad price overall though it remains to be seen how the market will react.
