You might have missed it during the official presentation for Nintendo Switch but the user interface is quite something. Thanks to the most recent Treehouse Live stream though, some more glimpses of the Switch’s UI were seen. You can see it above (image courtesy of PowerUpGaming).
From the outset, the Switch seems like a decent leap forward from previous systems, presenting a more minimalist presentation that’s sleeker but easier to understand. Icons for the Nintendo Store, Brightness, Messages and Power are clearly visible, allowing users to access them from the home screen with ease.
The Nintendo Switch is slated to release on March 3rd and will act as a hybrid console of sorts. It can be played on your TV with the help of a special dock or utilized as a separate tablet-like display with its own attachable controls (which can subsequently be detached and used as motion controllers). Launching worldwide, it will be available for $299 and feature such titles as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2 Switch and ARMS as part of its line-up.
