The new nightmare arrives in the land of the rising sun in July.

Back in January, Project Nightmare was announced as the next project from Nippon Ichi Software. The horror title would make heavy use of live-action video and…well that was basically all the information we got back then. But now the game has been reintroduced as Closed Nightmare, and given a release date for July 19, At least in Japan.

Dengeki Playstation has revealed that Closed Nightmare stars Maria Kamishiro, a young woman who is lured into a terrifying situation by another woman known as Chizuru. Kamishiro now having lost her memories and use of her left arm is forced into a mysterious experiment, where she can only try to survive.

There’s still not much known about the game beyond this, however the game will flip will between four different gameplay styles, including live action movies, exploration, text and challenges. Are you interested in the game? Let us know down below in the comments.
