What are you talking about? The game never promised any real life dinosaurs, lol. You are a prime example for people getting hyped up and making up their own wishful thinking content.
Those dinosaurs you mention (brontosaurus and triceratops) where just randomly generated. If you want to play a dinosaur game play Ark.
But you are right with one thing: AI is not that complex that it makes the NPC’s run through trees and stuff.
