With the PS5 Pro out in mere hours, several outlets have already provided their impressions and reviews of what to expect. This has led to new tests for existing titles, including No Man’s Sky by Hello Games. The developer praised the hardware for what it could deliver, and it turns out that the sci-fi sandbox title can run at 8K/30 FPS per Press-Start.
It joins the likes of F1 24 and Gran Turismo 7 in supporting the resolution. However, it can also run at 4K/60 FPS and delivers improvements to ambient occlusion and Ultra-level reflections. Even those playing on PlayStation VR2 will see these improvements.
The PS5 Pro is out later today for $699.99, so stay tuned for more details and check out our feature. No Man’s Sky is available for PS5, PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Though it continues to receive updates, Hello Games is also working on new open-world title, Light No Fire. Check out the first trailer here.
