No More Heroes’ Travis Touchdown “Returns” on Nintendo Switch

But will it be in a sequel?

Grasshopper Manufacture’s Travis Touchdown of No More Heroes fame will be returning on Nintendo Switch. This is according to creator Goichi “Suda51” Suda who noted, pretty much verbatim, that Travis Touchdown would be “making his return on Nintendo Switch”.

There were no more details confirmed and at this point, it’s not even clear whether this is a brand new No More Heroes title or something else. Suda51 simply noted that the game would be “heavily influenced by pro wrestling” and is currently in development. There is no release date confirmed unfortunately.

It is likely to be available only for the Nintendo Switch since the sequel – No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle – was only released for the Wii in 2010. This is despite the very first game eventually heading to PlayStation 3.

Regardless, what is this new game and does it interest you? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
