					<description><![CDATA[Not only was darksiders 2 better in every way than the original it was also one of the best games of the year.  It was very under rated and probably didn&#039;t get enough marketing exposure because THQ was folding when it came out.  If the games budget was 50 million it was due to thq mismanaging the project and rushing its development cycle by hiring too many people to get it done quickly.

The game plays like an adult modern Zelda title but with a fairly deep combat system.  Darksiders 2 was ambitious, probably too ambitious for the hardware it was on.  Its a project that should have been delayed and released at the launch of the xb1 and ps4.  Not only would it have been an amazing launch title but it would have gotten tons of exposure for being a true AAA release on consoles with very few launch titles.  Current gen would have been a much better fit especially due to the games visual scope.  It was amazing art design held back by hardware too old to handle it.]]></description>
