As graphics get more detailed, the file sizes get larger. It’s not rocket science. I don’t get the buzz about this. There are some pretty large external drives available for less than $100.

In reply to Ocelot forgot his meds. The amount of absolute stupid comments you make lead me to believe you aren't just opinionated, but straight up retarded. All devs load the appropriate assets for the games and they are somewhat independent of the screen resolution. Even 4k checkerboard will use 4k textures.

It has been confirmed that the Xbox X CPU is unable to process the amount of physics needed to run Destiny 2. The game engine calls uses the full CPU for a number of game related functions and the One X simply is not fast enough to handle those requirements.
No b$. Just simple facts. You don’t have to like them but you will be eating them. Destiny 2 – 30fps whether you like it or not. LOL

Actually I think it’s a combination of arrogance, stupidity, and ignorance (meaning lack of knowledge – defined here as they are not smart enough to know the meaning of the word).

They believe whatever is put in front of them and put their own spin on that info but are not educated enough to know any better. They form their own opinions on what they think they heard.

Items to date they are delusional on to the point of absolutely stupid:
– ‘new’ DX12 will make the One & S as fast as original PS4
– ‘extra CPU’ core made available will make the One & S as fast as O.PS4
– new dashboard/memory/OS optimizations will ‘boost’ One/S so its as fast as PS4
– One S is the first redo of the One and the PS4 Pro is the first redo of the PS4 therefore they are pretty much equal
– The One/S ‘upscale’ textures so they look good at any resolution and therefore the extra power in the PS4 and Pro mean nothing
– 4K assets are not required as the One/S are magic upscalers
– One X is a 4K machine so all developers will automatically make full 4K games
– Dynamic resolution (designed for initial Xbox One due to weak system) is because developers are lazy
– Checkerboard 4k is because developers are lazy
– Games like Destiny 2 are not 60 fps because developers are lazy (despite them publicly telling people the CPU is not strong enough)
– etc.

List list of hilarity is just starting for the One X. It isn’t even here yet and these rabid fans know all about it and apparently can design games better then the AAA game studios. lol

4k textures and assets make the X the only 4k console. Guess why Xbox one S and PS4 pro don’t download the additional assets like the X ?

Many native 4k games? You mean many ‘true 4k’ games which is not the same thing…

Also, clearly you have no idea what ‘4k assets’ are. They are just higher resolution textures, there’s nothing special about that and doesn’t need a high spec’d device to be able to use them.
So yes, even the Pro can use higher res. textures.

The ignorance and gullibility of Xbox fans is staggering. They eat all the MS PR crap up!

XBX is capable of running games at 60 fps (so is the N64). Just not Destiny 2.
