OUYA Interface Updates Arriving by November End

Some new features including queuing up games remotely and discovering things better online

The OUYA hasn’t exactly seen the greatest amount of success since its release. Nonetheless, the crowd-funded console is still surging on. Engadget has revealed that the device will see a new interface by November end, created by an all-new designer, to make finding games easier on the online store – a long-standing criticism for the interface since the console’s release.

There will also be changes in overall system menus, which will be smaller thus making game art more prominent, and accessing menus takes a simple button press. You’ll also be able to remotely queue games for download and there will be support for USB storage devices.

What about OUYA 2.0, which promised an overhaul of the interface and which was expected to release in 2014? This appears to be different from that so stay tuned for more details. Does this make the console more appealing to you or does the OUYA still have a ways to go? Let us know below.
