Kaplan seems to really want to solve this issue, which is great. He’d said in a video that it’s hard not to spread toxicity, and that all of us have been a culprit, and he’s right, but if somebody’s been banned multiple times for it, I’m glad they’re willing to just permanently band them from Competitive Overwatch. It’s sad that players can’t reliably jump into Quick or Competitive Play for more than an hour and not come across one of these people. I’ve mostly resorted to looking for teams for competitive play, because I just can’t risk solo-queuing anymore. I hope these new rules really make an impact.
