Michael Pachter believes all the negativity surrounding the Wii U during its launch won’t affect the sales of the system. It’s going to sell well, he says.
The Wii U has faced a terrible time so far, with people reporting bricked system, a massive firmware update, rumours of a slow CPU and RAM, and plenty more. Sometimes it just takes a toll on people’s mentality, however, they will go away eventually according to Pachter.
He also believes they will ship 3 million Wii Us this holiday and everything will fly off the shelves.
“Negativity overall will never go away so I expect the negativity to continue through the holidays,” he told NowGamer.
“I don’t think this has much impact on the launch and continue to expect launch quantities to be sold out, and reorders to remain sold out through March.”
I guess it’s a fair assessment of the situation, but when you consider his 3DS prediction which bombed completely, one has got to think otherwise.
