Persona 5 Scramble Shows Gameplay From First Chapter With Koei Co-Founder

A bizarre video shows the love from Koei Tecmo

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will hit Japan stores at the end of this month, and the game is going through its last big marketing push in the country, including the final trailer which you can see here. But they aren’t quite done yet, as a new video has been released highlighting the partnership that made the game happen.

In the video, Morgana inflitrates Koei Tecmo HQ to speak with Koei Co-founder Kou Shibusawa. If you weren’t aware at this point, Scramble is a collaboration between Persona publisher Atlus and Koei Tecmo, who publish the likes of Dynasty Warriors. Shibusawa talks up his love of Persona and the broader Shin Megami Tensei series, which he says he has loved since the 1990s. Unfortunately, there isn’t a closed caption option on this video for non-Japanese speakers so we relied on DualShockers for translations there. You can, however, enjoy the gameplay displayed from the first chapter in the second half of the video. Check it out below.

Persona 5 Scramble will release sometime this year for PlayStation 4 and Switch outside Japan. You might want to clear some time for it, too, as it won’t be short game.
