well with the core usage thing PUBG did release a 6 core cpu update for pc not to long ago, thing is whether its a proper 6 core update or just shifting some lesser used processes over to the extra 2 to alleviate it a bit. You need to keep up with pc updates to see where the x1 version will go. End of the day it is IMPOSSIBLE for digital foundry to measure cpu usage on any console hardware. they can only measure frame rate and give opinions.

well if next xbox comes out 1 year after ps5 then it will be possible. same year not a chance well as long as they both shoot for the same pricing target

The CPU is best optimized for 4 cores. As per digital foundry says. Also, with Microsoft helping out expect a major update that will increase performance and graphics to some degree before Christmas.

My predictions for the next Xbox?

It will be $500 and both cpu and gpu will out match the PS5.
With all games easily being 4k 30/60 not just first party.
And the ability to upscale games to 8k not true 8k, however can stream movies in 8k etc.

I believe E3 2018 Microsoft will crush and maybe talk about the future of Xbox.

They probably won’t but it be nice if Microsoft released a Hybrid Laptop/Tablet with Windows 10S and Xbox OS on it along side the new Xbox with performance comparable to the Scorpio.

I want a gaming laptop PC but geeze $1799 for sub-use is a bit much.
