Perhaps you need to check dictionary definitions.

Dark cloud – Not a franchise.

Legacy of Kain – The only actual franchise in this list that has run it’s course.

Manhunt – Manhunt 2 was released recently, making it an actual franchise, but gives it no reason to be on this list.

The thing – A franchise, but there was only a single game, and that’s of a movie.

Tenchu – Never ment to be more than the amount released. Last game ties it all up.

Shadow of rome – Single game, not a franchise.

Fatal Frame – Another game was released recently. No need to ‘come back’. Are you even trying?

Viewtiful Joe – Had a recent release, also. Attention paid: None. And with good reason.

Bully – Not a franchise. Had a special edition release, and that’s about it.

Kya – Not a franchise.

It was quite literally, and I’m not exaggerating, nothing but a celebration of murder. Not even in a funny amusing way, but more like a sadistic murder simulation game. It can stay in hibernation forever as far as I’m concerned.
