It has nothing to do with “balls” and everything to do with being smart and making good business decisions. If Ms wants to keep going first than thats on them. Ms has the bad habit of always stirring up early hype and trying to make the big splash. Sony, just sits back and use that way of thinking against them every time. All MS should have done was announce the existence of their scorpio, but no, they had to go on talking about teraflops, basically handing Sony all the advantage.

I can only surmise that Sony got cold feet and want to wait till ms announces Scorpio to try to see what they can do to match the Scorpios specs as close as possible.

This sort of pisses me off though. Sony got no balls and always needs to let the competitors make the first move and then they come up with a counter to that. Why do you think Sony conferences are always after ms’? It’s really no coincidence. Just because of this, i hope ms announces the Scorpio but give us some vague spec numbers like ~3x as powerful and etc…and only reveal the true specs until Sony has announced theirs…i mean, ms got time if rumours are to be believed…late 2017.

Especially in the light that the original has come down in price a bit from initial release. I’m all for the new system.
