KIllzone = medoicre, infamous = one of the most boring repetitive games ive played in a long time, not played knack, TLOU havnt got far enough in it to make a judgement and from the news DC is a mess. Apparenly fun to play SP and ok when multiplayer actually works. Not a good start

I haven’t said THE ONLY thing that matters – it is A ONE of the decisive factors. As for Sony, they’ve got health insurance, movie business and these are making decent profits, so without PS4 Sony won’t die, but will be on the edge.
And as for PS4 exclusives, it hasn’t been even a year – and first party lineup already includes Killzone:SF, Knack, Infamous:SS, MLB: The Show, TLOUR, Driveclub – so far XBone has Forza 5 and Forza Horizon 2 and that’s it. The best PS4 games will start arriving in 2015, there are 12 studious making exclusives for PS4 and these are first parties – Naughty Dog, Guerrilla Games, Guerrilla Cambridge, Santa Monica, Media Molecule, Polyphony Digital, Bend, Japan and others

No its not actually for the casual gamer whose played for a long time its about where there friends are, thats the main deciding factor. all the numbers mean nothing if youve got no one play with.

Also to the casual gamer they wouldnt know any difference anyway, adding to the fact what games they want play. Tbh PS4 exclusives are a bit boring and to RPG’y for the most part. Sony trying to buy up everything cus they know if PS4 fails they are totalled as a company. There wont be much left thats making any money. So to say resolution is the only thing that matters to a CASUAL GAMER is being extremely naive

Yes, the content is really the same. But for a casual PS3/Xbox360 gamer who hasn’t made a just to a new generation, numbers may be the definitive factor of choice. Even if PS4 is 1080p and XBone is 1079p, the power is in the numbers FOR A CASUAL GAMER. It’s different when you compare a PC version to a PS4 version – that’s totally different because of other things like mouse/gamepad, or whatever. But when you compare 2 versions for PS4 and XBone – 2 exact boxes, for the same price with similar gamepads, with 90% exact same games – one will choose a version with bigger numbers – it’s customer phycology, not his reason

im talking about the gameplay and whats in it story wise. Its still exactly the same game, I dunno what the difference between a 720p and 1080p is because i havnt got em running side by side but generally speaking most upscalers are pretty decent, the one in my 47inch TV is pretty good. I went from SD channels to HD channels today and i cant tell the difference because it seemed to of done a pretty good job of upscaling. I bet its better at upscaling than either console as well.

I read your response and: “it’ll be the exact same game on every platform” – can’t agree. MGS5 The Phantom Pain runs at 1080p60fps on PS4. And 720p60fps on XBone. If you’ve got a large TV, the game won’t be the same on different platforms. You can argue about for instance Dragon Age which is 1080p30fps on PS4 and 900p30fps on XBone – that’s not a big difference. But the difference on a huge TV between 1280*720 and 1920*1080 is HUGE, the experience is not the same

I couldnt care less because i dont like Titanfall, all the fanboys are the ones coming out with this rubbish. I dont get how do you mean if its great on PS4? itll be the exact same game on every platform. Doesnt change. They are just plain stupid typing out malicious comments and stuff then buy the game anyway then i bet you theyll be begging for a visual analysis and then they will all say how much better there version is etc and of course PC gamers will roll into town to knock em to the floor where they belong. Compare our version!!! but they dont want know because they know they can never win.
