You don’t have to have psn+ to use the psnow service though. This is a service they’ll be offering on smart TVs as well. I wouldn’t pay for a whole year service for this either and you don’t have to. Now if there was a game I wanted to try I would only do the 1 month($20) if I still didn’t have my ps3. Since I still have a ps3, I would just buy the game from a bargain bin.

$180 per year + playstation plus = $230, I can’t see that as being good value even if their network was up to par

I guess this would be for those who don’t want to buy another console to play older games. Or if you just have a few older games you would like to play you could do the one month deal for $19. For me personally, I can’t see giving Sony any more money right now until they can prove their network is a little more stable.
