If there are no issues via hardware / software then why isn’t MS allowing all 360 games to be played on Xbone just by the disc then? Oh that’s right, not all games work ( = issues ) lmao!

PS-Now is the start of things to come, sooner or later there will be no need for console hardware ( when was the last time you see a video rental shop ) now we have Netflex etc. people put down the idea of Netflex ( but look at it now ) it’s part of what we know as a standard way of life. Gaming without a console could soon do the same thing.If it does then that means BW-Comp- is dead.

PS3 and 360 both had BW-Comp- and lets be honest, although gamers wanted that feature is wasn’t used all that much by them, and we all knew how older games ran on new hardware ( crap ). It was not worth having anyway as not all games worked ( just like xbone nowadays ) and when they did work it was not a good as the original versions.

PS-Now is allowing other outlets to experience gaming ( without a console ) and that is better than backward compatibility, it’s more like forward compatibility for gaming needs. PS-Now pricing needs to come down big time but apart from that the idea is better to support than backward compatibility and face issues with hardware problems.

I imagine it’s to keep costs down and to rush the consoles out before the competition.

But then I think, hold on, Nintendo always gives you BC and a PC is almost BC with everything and emulators are developed to make crazy stuff playable on a PC. So it’s not impossible.
