So Sony fans have no integrity and are corporate scumbags as well.

Thanks for the heads up.

In reply to <a href="https://gamingbolt.com/playstation-now-subscription-pricing-brings-in-mixed-reactions-from-users#comment-247683">Xbox Fans Have No Integrity Or</a>.

I used to be just as concerned as you about resale rights...then I started to realize that I never, ever resold my games...and when I tried to take them all to Gamestop to trade in for credit towards a shiny new console, I found that their trade in value was next to zero. (seriously, I paid $60 for "Mirror's Edge" and they offered me FIFTY CENTS for it!). Not only that, but many of my games were loaned out and never returned, or they were damaged by my friends and/or family not taking care of the physical media.

So now? I buy ALL of my content for my PS4 digital. I paid full price for "Destiny", but almost every other title, I wait for it to go on sale. I have gotten some games unbelievably cheap...like Ni No Kuni on PS3 for under $7! With prices like that, I don't have to worry about "resale value"...and all of my games are "stored" for me on Sony's servers...I can delete them when I feel like it, and re-download at any time. This has served me well for YEARS, so I don't have much fear that suddenly, my library of games will be taken from me.

Now, all of that is in reference to buying copies of Playstation games that run on my local machine. PS Now is a COMPLETELY different animal! It has always been more of a "rental" service than a way to "own" games...and I am OK with that. I was NOT OK with paying $8 for a week long rental of a single title, however! I tried it once to see how well the service worked, and was pleasantly surprised to find that TECHNICALLY, the service (at least on my internet connection) worked absolutely FLAWLESSLY. No perceptible lag or latency in input, and graphics that rivaled what my PS3 could do locally.

Now that the service has a reasonable price to go with it (I find $15/month to be a great value, personally), I won't hesitate to sign up when the service goes live. Will it replace my purchase of games? No, no more than Netflix replaces my purchase of Blu-Ray movies. I think there is room for both, don't you?

I agree.. and not just for the price but for the latency and performance. Streaming games will never run as good as they would either off the HDD digitally or off a disk.

It's all DRM.. every single digital game has it, all PS+ games have it and all PS Now games have it since they sit behind either a digital license or a subscription service to begin with.

This is also why I will NEVER BUY A DIGITAL TITLE WHEN THERE IS A PHYSICAL OPTION AVAILABLE. I wouldn't care if it was 20 bucks more than digital.. I will still only buy physical. Yes I do buy digital games when there isn't another option but if a disk is available.. I'd much rather own my games.

I disagree.. this move to digtal along with this movement towards streaming games rather than having them locally on your hdd is a step in the wrong but at the same time inevitable direction. Not only that Sony should be cutting this in half.

I do respect your opinion however but I have to disagree. Then again you're talking to someone who believes digital gaming only serves the publishers and developers and strips the consumer of ownership, the ability to resell, etc.

It requires always online, is DRM tied and games can be pulled down at any time by the publisher on top of streaming and bandwidth issues for latency.

No, it's a flop and the latency will kill it. Nvidia already did it better with GRID by having it an addition than a core service.

At least, with streaming, you wouldn't need to wait for months to get a last-gen title that has been at the top of your queue
