					<description><![CDATA[Not surprised. The PS TV&#039;s utter lack of marketing/public exposure, it&#039;s incompatibility issues with a large percentage of PS Vita software, and it&#039;s missing media feature killed the device&#039;s commercial viability before it even left the gate.

However, the idea of having a dirt cheap microconsole built to play dedicated handheld games is actually a pretty good idea. I could see Nintendo making a &quot;PS TV&quot; version of their next generation handheld, assuming that the handheld has an sub-HD/HD screen resolution and the proper controls. Nintendo could use this device to attract the casual mobile gamers (who made the Wii so successful), and in the process could introduce (or re-introduce) some of those consumers into dedicated portable gaming. My guess is Sony tried to do that with the PS TV, but the aforementioned issues I mentioned above killed the product before it ever launched.]]></description>
