720P VR, lol

OR= 2160 x 1200. That’s one display, split across both eyes, and equates to a per-eye resolution of 1080 x 1200 ( final build specs ) refresh rate= around 90Hz in most cases.

But resolution isn’t the only thing that’s needed for VR. (( slow frame rate can easily create motion sickness and eye discomfort for users )) Also PS-VR uses a Full RGB subpixel matrix where Oculus has a PenTile one panel.

PS-VR= 1920 x 1080, divided between both eyes, this gives it a resolution of 960 x 1080 for each eye ( May not be final specs ) refresh rate= around 120Hz in most cases thanks to Sony’s reprojection software. (( And they’ll achieve this with reprojection and a very low latency under 18ms ))

*Just to point out Sony use a similar technology in their 3D movies with their Sony Pictures Studios*

So which VR headset is better? Let’s be clear: at this point it’s too early to tell so stop being a Troll Truth™ just wait and see what is better and what sells better and what’s the most support ( a factor for all gaming needs )
