While storage space considerations are not as much of an issue on the Nintendo 3DS, a platform where most game sales are digital and a platform where most games are actually rather small in terms of file size, there is no doubting that even the most disengaged 3DS owner might now be running out of space. The system itself comes with no on board memory (though Nintendo bundles a 4GB SD card with each of them)- which, as it turns out, is going to be just enough for you to buy and install Pokemon UltraSun or UltraMoon to yours digitally.
Amazon Japan has revealed the file size for the highly anticipated upcoming Pokemon game on the system, confirming that it will be 3.6 GB (or 29,500 blocks in the 3DS’s ridiculous parlance). For reference, Pokemon Sun/Moon took up 3.2 GB- so I wonder where the extra 400MB are coming from.
Pokemon UltraSun/UltraMoon are due out exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS on November 17.
