Can’t wait dude. The amount of features it’s packing is almost as good as a PC….but a PC allows you to play Steam games, doesn’t charge for Xbox Live, is upgradeable, while also being capable of allowing you to use it for so many other things. I wonder if they’re gonna bundle in an updated controller too. Imagine if it shipped with Elite controllers that had longer than a 90 day warranty and didn’t have cheap rubber grips that come off after minimal use! Haha, but that won’t happen due to the price of the controller being way too high for such an obviously lack of quality control standards.

Isn’t Amazon still trying to sell original Day One issue Xbox Ones? Trust me, you will have as many Day One Scorpio consoles available as you could possibly want. There is no false demand to worry about. Most people don’t know it exists and most people probably won’t buy it anyway. There are no Scorpio games, and unlike you, they won’t blindly trust Microsoft anymore.

I can’t imagine the price going to $599. Could Microsoft truly have not learned from the PS3 launch?
The original version of that system was justified in the price for what was in it, but time has consistantly proved the mainstream won’t lay down that kind of money.
Even their KinectBox didn’t sell, although it’s debatable whether most of that was price or bad PR.
All we do know is they brought it down to that magic $400 price point and sales picked up.
I want to think they know this and would only do a machine like this if they had a way to bring the price down somewhat close to the historically limit of $399, but then again, it is Microsoft. They don’t have a habit of learning from history.
I don’t care if it shoots fireworks and brings you food and drink, if the machine does end up costing 600 bucks, it’ll be dead in the water outside of a few really hardcore fans.

Hahah.. nobody cares about the poisenous Scorpio apart from 3 or 4 people.. i can hear people yawning at all the “trying to stay relevant Scorpio news”..

The Scorpio is a big juicy bone, but no dog wants to play with it. 🙁
