Sony does there own thing, for there own reasons, and in there own time and in there own way. I can respect these qualities in a person, but a business needs to cater to the free-market system of supply & demand if they want to stay profitable. Sony has been so arrogant to assume they could set the stage and ignore there main competition. As for the PS3 I only buy exclusives I can’t live without despite all the hardware advantages of the PS3.

I have a PS3 and gave up on Sony a long time ago. They do things there own way in there own time and because of there own reasons. I can respect that in an individual, but to be so totally clueless in business? You will NOT survive in a free market system with the laws of supply & demand if you don’t cater to your market. Sony has made so many mistakes and used up a lot of goodwill with customer loyalty by doing these things it only strengthened it’s main competitors brands. These days I only buy games on the PS3 if it is an exclusive and can’t live without.

Remember we were told by pretty much everyone in the gaming media that it was Microsoft who had no idea how to run their business because Kinect was such a horrible idea and it was going to flop so bad.

Well I guess this proves that Sony is not the only ones who have no clue how to run their business, the gaming media seems to be a little mixed up as well. Poor “clueless” MS had record profits when they reported, largely due to the Xbox division with its kinect sales LOL!

After owning all the systems for many years I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t really enjoy paying to play with cheaters on Live. It’s much better to get a free service that has much less cheating going on.

My pants don’t get tight over hearing about a company’s loss or gain though. I fear I’m losing touch with this petty society. LOL
