A discussion of facts is what I’m after. When facts are laid out and only facts and you only use that information then your personal bias should be removed. The discussion doesn’t conclude with system X is better than y. It presents information on a specific aspect of a system and breaks it down into inarguable truths.

Now if someone wants to act like a moron and just make up nonsense to justify their own purchases that’s on them it doesn’t however prevent me from trying to have an actual conversation about something. I don’t care which is “better” because I have both. In this instance I care about feature updates and why one company has been doing them and another has seemingly ignored almost every request by their customer base

I don’t really understand why you want to make this a discussion about xbox vs ps… It’s stupid, it’ll never reach an agreement on any parts, both systems has their advantages and disadvantages. And I also think that since past generation gamers has been spoiled by consoles that wants to make everything. We are so spoiled by the companies that everyone thinks we deserve everything in equal shares. Get it over, Sony does one thing and Microsoft another. You really can’t take sides on this.

The quality of whatever is being offered isn’t the question here. Being a software company doesn’t give Microsoft much of an advantage because Sony is ALSO a software company just not as big. If they wanted to grow they hire people. Problem is Sony is and always has been arrogant. They think their fans will continue to eat up whatever scraps are tossed their way. It has been their biggest weakness for 20 years and the PlayStation division is not immune.
