I still see no reason why ps4.5 should target 4k, nor do I see a reason why it should come with a upscaling unit. PSVR is not 4k. Frame-rates and graphic settings seem more important than 4k resolution.

1080ti and FuryZ can probably push 4k, but no console will include such expensive hardware(except a $1000 steambox)

Same GPU in crossfire config. So useless for VR and nowhere near good enough for 1440P, never mind 4K

Oh its going to be upscale no doubt about it. The next Gpu i am getting should do 4k good enough ”1080 ti” or a Fury Z or w/e AMD will call it.

I’m an nvidia guy and I am just thinking what would be 100% more powerful than say a 750ti… and I’m thinking that’s kinda powerful… and expensive for a console.

Deep Down and God Of War 4 are going to be released as launch titles for PS4k. Weird for God Of War 4 as this series is always release in March. But the PS4k will be released in Q1 2017 right. So that means the update will be released somewhere between January 23-March 23, 2017.

Alright! I’ll take there word for it but something isn’t just right about it’s being presented as a new console. However, if it is the this going to be the shortest generation ever.
