Well, when you put it like that, I have to say you are not wrong at all. A huge chunk of games don’t care about exclusives (of any platform).

BUT! a lot of us do, maybe we are not interested al in the same exclusives to make them all top sellers, but have you ever thought that maybe gamer A bought ps4 for jrpgs, while gamer B bought it for uncharted and gamer C bought it for action Japanese games like nier, Bloodborne or nioh and player D bought it cause he likes baseball games… If they al buy COD, then COD is the top seller, selling 4 times more than the others, yet, those gamers knew COD would be on ps4 or Xbox but chose ps4 because they cared about exclusives, just not the same ones (this is not Nintendo) consider that of all the systems ps4 is the one with more exclusives and with more diversity between them.

Well, since U4 did “ok” and no xbone exclusive has ever sold more than U4, then no xbone exclusive has even done ok! Lol and since the xbone isn’t anywhere near the top of the best selling consoles then, according to you, it doesn’t matter either!

Guess what sheep? I truly enjoyed nioh, Nier, and persona 5 not caring at all if they sold more than fifa.

But, at the end of the day, no matter what you try, my statement remains intact. While you back tracked in yours only to back track again to reveal yourself as a true sheep in the process!

U4 and Horizon are the only 2 exclusives that mattered <- Because most ps4 owners bought it. Most best sellers are all multiplats but U4 did well and Horizon did ok.

Games-in-nioh-camp (around 1m copies vs 70m ps4 owners) is ignored by majority / is transparent to a lotta people / has minimal effect selling consoles. Fun or not means nothing, because not many people (which ever side they are or no sides) seem to care about those games.
