Sony throwing all their weight behind a brand new AAA first party exclusive IP?

Who would have thought this was possible when apparently Xbox fanboys keep saying Sony is shifting away from AAA exclusives in favor of indies. I thought the PS4 had no first party exclusives or exclusives for that matter.
