In a set of events everyone should have seen coming, Q-Games’ PlayStation 4 exclusive, Tomorrow Children, which had originally been announced for a Spring release date back at the PlayStation Experience event in December, has now been pushed to a Summer 2015 release window.
As I said, this should not have come as a shock to anybody- the game had been largely quiet on the media front for quite a while now. The confirmation comes from the game’s engine director, James McLaren, who indirectly confirmed this snippet during his presentation at GDC this year.
This marks, then, the second major high profile delay a PlayStation 4 exclusive has suffered within the last two weeks- the first, and more important one, obviously was Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which was delayed from this holiday season into Spring 2016. Given all the delays high profile exclusives for PS4 have suffered so far, one has to wonder exactly what might be going on behind the scenes.
