This is a PS4 game, announced exclusive. What is wrong with me celebrating that fact? What is your agenda?

I’m sorry, but my comment was made hastily and was the first thought in my head. I certainly wasn’t going to write “As a PS4 owner, I sure hope this game’s quality is compromised by multi-platform development” in the hopes of staving off any hurt feelings.

It’s better not to provoke ‘exclusive bragging’ in comments though.

I prefer exclusives because not only does it build value in the brand but exclusive devs consistently talk about the performance gains they achieve by developing for a single system vs multiple. After all, Sony’s First Party pedigree is one of the things that attracted me to a Playstation purchase in the first place.

As a gamer, I want my exclusive console games to reflect the best possible results, it’s what justifies a console purchase over a gaming PC for me.

(don’t jump down my throat, master race…I said “For me!”)

Please don’t, we should want more games to be multiplatform not less.
