Im not sure how that’s relevant to this topic especially since gamingbolt hasn’t lowered themselves to insult their own audience.

I agree there are some serious issues with the media that need to be addressed but you need to pick the right time and place. You can’t just interject that kind of argument into a totally unrelated topic.

Its frustrating I know but keep your cool. If you really feel the media is treating gamers poorly contact the companies who put ads on their sites but do so in a well written calm manner explaining why you don’t think they should be advertising there.

Its all a gimmick. The problem is like most gimmicks there is also a real world element to it so it paint everything gray and when things are gray what is or is not important is a matter of were you stand and want perception to go.
For instance I am a person that understands how images are created, and game assets and media. The 1080p is a real thing when you are talking about clarity and picture quality but there are major factors that go in to that because its not a 1 size fits all type of thing…. its not as simple as more pixels mean better. For example a 720p texture in a game displayed at 1080 is the same as a 720p texture display at 720p…. it doesnt matter if they chopped it into more pieces you can only get out what is put in. thats why COD being 1080p on Ps4 and 720p on X1 needs a magnifying glass to tell the difference. Same thing with your tablet comparison and its not as different as you would think.

PS4 has 15 games that runs at 900p the Xbox One has 30 games that runs at 900p so both consoles struggle to run games at 1080p, so stop blaming developers and take off your PlayStation blinders

The real enhancements are not just from games performing better. But better hardware will allow developers to achieve better visual fidelity.
Visual Fidelity far exceeds resolution. Just look at the remastered GTA V compared to last gen.
