Nothing saved the PS3. It was a nogames console till the end and the PS4 is low powered trash that Sony is already discarding as it has no games and sub 30FPS frames.

ICE team being disbanded and evolution being shut down means Sony’s leaving the industry 🙂

I wonder what he is up to now. The ICE team was instrumental in saving the PlayStation 3. Prior to their efforts the brass at Sony had put the PS3 on life support. Team ICE delivered tools to developers to really tap into the power of the PS3 and make it a platform that was attractive to develop on instead of being the unruly beast it was at launch. The PS4 no doubt would not be where it is today without these guys. I am sure Cort will be missed.
