I understand but that’s not their problem. When you get a new cell phone every 2 years the manufacturer doesn’t take back your phone and give you a new deal.

No…the price is 100% on the customer as it should be. You can always trade at GameStop or sell to someone but there is no reason for Sony or ms to offer trade up programs. It would cost them way too much money.

No different on PC. I dont get to trade pieces in when I buy new ones…I wish I did believe me but unfortunately its never gonna happen.

What you MIGHT see is maybe coupon or something if you owned a console for x years and had the online service but even that’s probable not gonna happen but hey…tweet them both and suggest it. Get lots of people to do that maybe it will work who knows. Cant hurt to try.

As long as sony/ms have a reasonable trade-in program, I’m on board…

Being x86 means games can scale for old and new hardware and it also means easy compatibility.

Gamers should be happy. Pc can keep innovating with amazing new hardware and a year or 2 later consoles can follow suit and give us that hardware.

That means bigger better games, better visuals, better physics, better ai, better sound, faster loading, virtual reality, 4k gaming, higher frame rates etc

If you don’t want to upgrade right away you don’t have to. They are taking what makes PC gaming awesome and combining it with what makes console gaming awesome.

Its a win win for everyone even if you exclusively game on PC or console.

Remember…the 360 and ps3 generation held PC gaming back for YEARS. Those days are over and thank god
