Yeah but I’m saying, NEO doesn’t need to be on par with Scorpio, to provide console gamers with an amazing display of graphics that they otherwise wouldn’t have in the immediate future. The supposed specs I’ve seen is enough imo. And yeah man, I’m hoping Scorpio’s CPU is beast, but all that actually matters is Microsoft tweaking the CPU to a point where they can pull off VR, and 4k @ steady 30fps. So HOPEFULLY they can use a cheap Jaguar upclocked, achieve their targets, and keep costs down, to the tune of a $500 console. They really need to hit $500 price bro, 600 is way too risky…..

And lets not forget that we have not seen final specs for the machines.

For all we know the machines might be pretty identical. Packing similar Polaris 10 GPUs, Scorpio with 12 gigs of gddr5 and Neo with 8 gigs of gddr5x, both using 8 core updated Jaguar Cpus etc etc.

I did read somewhere that MS think the price of the console is key(somewhat obvious). Putting together a 8 core Zen CPU, with a Vega 10 GPU and 12 gigs of ram sounds like a 600USD+++ console. Can’t really see them making that.
