Uhhhhh….what? Are you sure you didn’t misread something there? Those are the measurements for the CURRENT model PS4.

Also the link to the FCC page doesn’t work.

Maybe it’ll be a small hard drive to chop off some cost, and then allow for external hard drive support.

Whatever the changes are, I’m having no issues with my launch PS4 so won’t be looking into this model. Not quite sure why Sony feels like they need to make hardware revisions so soon after launch.

ME3X12 i guess thinks Xbox is a religion or something.

Anyways…

Interestingly it looks like the changes involve the antenna and wifi chip. I’ve read of people having issues with wifi with the ps4. Also it doesn’t look like there are modifications to anything else as the case dimensions, weight and power supply ratings and temp range are are identical.
