Why would I unhook my Xbox when. I can turn it on from my laptop and play on my laptop?

How am I going to hook it to my laptop?

My Xbox is in my media room. I often watch TV with my wife in my living room while playing games on my laptop. I stream pc games from my desktop and now xbox games. I also have a server desktop all my music and video media is stored on that I stream throughout my house. I guess I should just move my tower around when I want to watch a movie or play music?

My house is wired so whatever is on the media room TV can be played on any tv in the house. The Xbox controller doesn’t work perfect in my bedroom. It’s too far but I have a dedicated wireless ac network only my laptop hooks to.

Not to mention all my cables are tied secured and it’s not easy to access my gear once it’s in place given how complicated the setup is.

I realize you are a broke child that moves his ps3 to your parents TV when they aren’t home. I’m a well off tech junkie who’s entire house is wired and enjoy sitting in several places around my house doing what I choose.

All Microsoft did was unlock the high quality streaming setting that requires high bandwidth even though people had ways of unlocking it before. Microsoft just made it official.

Remote Play can stream at 60 fps and if Sony wanted to enable 1080p they could.

Remote Play can stream to another TV with Vita TV.

In a recent interview Microsoft admitted they didn’t even know who would want the feature. They stated “Who is actually going to use this.”
