Microsoft Xbox will not release sales figures so if their numbers cannot be backed up officially or by research as you require we will just have assume a sales figure of zero for Xboxone.

Interestingly Microsoft have absolutely no problem with releasing numbers of the (successful) Windows 10 users/install base. So it’s not really an across the board philosophy at MS to not release numbers there seems to be something particular about the Xbox numbers.. but I can’t quite put my finger on it… can you perhaps?

Shipped product is sold product. We both agree on that point. So 54 million shipped is 54 million sold. Agreed.

Now, under the assumption that you just layed out, I now challenge you to explain why retailers want more Sony stock than they want Xbox One stock. Is it because of increased customer demand for Sony’s product vs Microsoft’s product?
And if Sony is shipping more product to retailers than Microsoft, then how does that help your argument at all? Does it not simply mean that Sony has a more desirable product than their competition, and in turn retailers are buying more inventory to keep a hot item in stock, one that is constantly in demand versus the increasingly undesirable Xbox One?

If you’re ‘shipping’ 50 million consoles, then you’re ‘selling’ 50 million consoles. I could have 10 people in my house ‘using’ a single console, and still have high usage numbers. What kind of low expectations having clown are you? That’s like being stupid ‘on purpose’.
