I’d like to see them release a base ps5 for 400.
but have the option to buy a better parts.
for the people that don’t freak out over a $500 price tag.

In reply to Mr Xrat. They could offer a base model for £350, then offer bundles as well with an extra control, games, VR headset, extra so they don't lose on console costs IF it was to be sold at a loss.

In reply to Life of Black Tiger. It also depends how old the technology of the chip is. We all know that we can't expect cutting edge technology on consoles. I expect the next gen will use some form of enhanced Ryzen. Navi could be too far away for PS 5 or the next Xbox.
