In reply to Hubert Grzymislawski. I don't think so as PS5 will be a Clean Break an actual Generational Leap. Sony is switching to 3 year hardware refresh cycles like the PS4, PS4 Pro set up continuing on as that's their best strategy going forward. PS5 Fall 2019, PS5 Pro Fall 2022

In reply to Eddie Battikha. We'll see. I have every PS console going back to the original, and all are in perfect working condition. I certainly wouldn't plan on buying the Next Gen one immediately if they can't promise it would be 100% backwards compatible with PS4 games.
