it may not stop SOME from buying it, but at $300 for a handheld game system, they might lose a lot of sales upon it’s release. I guess that’s just a class issue though. People with less money have to prioritize before making such a bold purchase. 300 is pretty steep, I think 250/260 sounds better.

There is no way NGP wll be 599.99. It’s not logical, i can buy TWO ps3s with that!! that’s like half the money for a great hdtv! I said it once and i’ll say it again, Sony needs to be smart and price it at 250.00 to compete with 3ds.

If this doesn’t take off like it should it should it will be a huge step back for hand held gaming. But Sony will hopefully pull through in the end to make this dream come true. A PS3 in your pocket, its just too good to pass up.

I want one now. It’s about time they listened to the consumers. The dealbreaker for me would have been only 1 analogue and only digital downloads but it has two analogues and physical media and everything else is just a huge bonus for me. I would be willing to pay up to $400 and anything higher than that would count me out and I would have to suffer with my iPhone 4 and the horrible touch input only for games.

Yeah “its not going to be $599”, well how about $700? Sony are an amazing company. Their only problem is that pricing is always higher than most other companies… Still won’t stop me from buying it!
