Alright, I'll be cautious of it. You gotta play Super Mario 3D World to know how good it is- just seeing videos or reviews doesn't do the game justice. Yeah i found it very interesting how the game and Wii U are the only things holding up well right now, with ps4 and xbox one not managing to scratch that itch. I bet you no one saw that coming-Nintendo is making a comeback :) this time, since they renamed it from VGA to VGX also, they're doing it different this time. Instead of it just being rigged rewards and almost no actual games most of the show for 2 hours like previous years, this time it will be 3 hours, and be mostly revealing new games there and new trailers for already announced games, with a few rewards here and there that won't seem they were handpicked this time. And it goes on December 7 at 6 PM ET/3 PM PT in the US. Don't know what time that would be for you but I'm guessing you be asleep by then unless you plan on pulling an all-nighter. and yeah, Claudia Black should've won the award that year. Speaking of which, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword or Batman Arkham City should've gotten GOTY two years ago, not Skyrim. But at least the Zelda franchise got into the Video Game Hall of Fame, heehee :)

DONT play gone home.

Its 1 hour and a half of a lesbo commentary, not kidding.

I heard great stuff about super mario 3d you know its funny the only console that has good exlusive now is wiiu.

not ps4 and xbox one.

Now i dont live in the US and from what i heard the way they handle those shows is....well they put jocks to talk about games, its just laughable. Or how megan fox got best voice acting award for transformers 2 the game but not claudia black for uncharted 2

I actually voted for Super Mario 3D World for GOTY-don't know if you've played it yet but it's great. Beyond Two Souls's game play was very clunky, even though story had its moments. Didn't get to play Gone Home but will check it out now that you mention it. And yes, Zelda has always been a master at game play, exactly like Arkham City and Darksiders while coupling them with great stories to follow. I myself plan to get The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL Bundle and eventually get the Wind Waker HD Wii U Deluxe Bundle. I hope to see a sneak peak at the next game Rocksteady or even R* is working on, or how Crytek is handlling Darksiders. Also, I don't think it's that story became the most important aspect but that it became a big part of games to the point that developers forgot how to make balanced games that focus on all the game's strengths. Arguably, game play is a bigger deciding factor for the quality of a game than story, but if there's no purpose behind the game play then the player will feel lost with the game play at their disposal, which is where I think Beyond Two Souls messed up. Are you gonna watch Spike VGX either way though?

Dont care about them.

So which is goty? bioshock infinite for being a horribly borring and repettive fps with a good story?

That las of us that is filled with bugs and bad ai but hey it has an amazing story. Or maybe ANOTHER 10/10 overrated gta game?

Atleast gta has gameplay.

Cant say the same about the likes of beyond two souls and the last two games that reviewers gave them such a biased high rating becasue the story made them "Feel" something, kidna like Gone home did, no gameplay, all story, 9/10 everyhwere.

When did games become about story? Right now i am look for games like zelda, you know that have gadgets that you get as you progress an acess new areas, kinda like arkham city and darksiders.

Yup. Hopefully at Spike VGX this year Ubisoft shows us Beyond Good and Evil 2 or something new. Have you gone to the VGX website to vote for GOTY and all that stuff yet?

Do you have either of them?

If you dont you can get the pc version from gog which can run on ancient pcs and it looks identical, i am not kidding, its the same, they didnt improve anything else other from resollution or they just improved it from the console version becasue the game on pc and the hd version on pc are identical. So if you are stuck with an old pc as you say, you could get that game.

If not get any console version you want, it doesnt mater.

I played the demo on PS3 and enjoyed. Have yet to get. I hope the sequel is in the works for next gen right now. Should I get beyond good and evil hd on PS3 or 360?
