No sh*t sherlock. Every multidisc game on the Xbox 360 installs that way and outside of Forza Motorsport 3 there is no game that installs components to the harddrive because MS doesn't let third parties do this. A disc is installed and therefrom read from the harddrive. The disc is only needed in the tray for verification (a short spinup). It is order specific only if you want the game to read from the harddrive when you play on that specific disc. The game is linear in progress between discs so that should be a problem.
I'll take the 7GB OPTIONAL install over the 8+GB mandatory installation on the PS3 any day. The rumored 22GB total install was only brought to life by PoS3 fanboys that don't have an Xbox 360 and know how it works. Pathetic!

"But I wonder how it will actually work. Can the players install discs in any order or will it be order specific? Will it follow the style of MGS1 on the PlayStation One, where the system will ask for a second disk? All these questions remains unanswered."

Really? Your writing 'articles' on video games and ask those questions? Yikes. You can install the disks in any order, some of them or none at all. Just like all the other 360 games...
