Notice how the XB1 version hasn’t sold out. That clearly indicates that there are simply not enough XB1 gamers out there in the wild to make it happen. Rockstar will see that as more evidence of who is actually paying there wages. It’s common sense to put extra work into the area where you are going to be paid for it via game sales.

The hardware sales ratio between PS4/PS4 Pro vs XB1/Scorpio will remain the same, because those who buy the Scorpio will be the XB1 fanboys desperate to ditch the lame multimedia console to jump across, so no sales gain there, and a small number of elitists who simply have to have the best at any cost, even when they know a superior PS5 will arrive 2 years later. The mass market will still be on PS4 because it remains an excellent console and very cheap with lots of great games.
