Remedy Releases First Official Screenshots Of Control

A stunning, more detailed look at Remedy's next title.

Posted By | On 13th, Jun. 2018

First revealed at the Sony’s E3 2018 Press Conference, Control is the next game out of Remedy Entertainment, and the first to come to a PlayStation system in quite a while since the company worked with Microsoft on several titles like Quantum Break and Alan Wake, though the game is multiplatform and also coming to Xbox One and PC.

The press release that came with the screenshots gives a rather detailed synopsis on the story. Players take on the role of Jesse Faden, the new director of a shadowy organization based in New York, who has to regain Control following an attack by an otherworldly threat, and learn the nature of her new powers. The shooting and worlds that Remedy is known for is to be mixed with supernatural powers.

Unlike a lot of their previous titles, Control has a fairly large degree of player driven input, with a sandbox world as opposed to the linear titles of the past, something the team is excited to prove themselves on according to game director Mikael Kasurinen. The game is set to release in 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PS4, published by 505 Games. Does it have your attention? Let us know in the comments.
