Boston? That kinda sucks. My vote is for Detroit as there's already tons of gangs, factories, warehouses, a large river and the option to expand outside the Metro Detroit area to Canada, Toledo, Chicago, etc. Imagine all the scaving you can do in former auto or military factories? It could have plenty of human gangs like the Jackels or Scorpians, the Khans, etc and in a nuclear war, Detroit would be in the top 10 places to nuke as it was the arsenal of democracy in WWII and still is today.

I think Fallout 4 would have a lot of possibilities regardless of where they locate the game world. In terms of story endings I preferred Fallout 3 because in Fallout: New Vegas I would select a group to align with and then had to make sure "on my own" I had a save file before committing so I could go back an experience the other endings or finish any side quests. You have a huge game that has DLC to extend the experience and you can't play it because the ending forces you to start over or have the save? That is stupid. Fallout 3 had something similar, but the Brotherhood of Steel DLC allowed you to continue even after the end. With DLC from Fallout 3 I clocked in over 150+ hours. That $60 (game) + $40 (DLC) gave me a lot of playtime for $100 (US). Fix the ending problem and I'm a guaranteed Fallout 4 customer.

I've got to say that Fallout 3 and New Vegas are two of the best games ever made,I was so happy that Fallout 3 won game of the year in 2008 and then having Fallout New Vegas a couple of years later was just a little slice of heaven for me...I have never had the chance to play Fallout 1/2 as never had a PC to play them on but I know what they mean to people and to have Fallout 3/Vegas on console was just awesome and gave me a new genre to play as I was just a FPS and TPS player so moving to RPG was like having a new lease of life. So that makes me move on to Fallout 4( even though I still play FO4/ Vegas). Boston seems great as a setting and with connections to M.I.T well yeh it can only be a good thing,so for me bring it on and bring t on in the form of a next gen release title....can you imagine the look of a wasteland with next gen graphics god bring it on and hopefully with none of problems of cross console like we have with Skyrim... So please let these rumours be true
