How the hell do you write a sequel to one of the cornerstones of western literature? Well, the rumour mill says that Josuha Rubin may know how! Joshua, co-writer for Assasin’s Creed II, has put on his offical biography that he was recently ” the sole writer for a Major Unannounced Sequel from Visceral Studios at EA Games” This was followed by a small hyperlinked hint (in brackets) which took you to a superbowl ad for Dante’s Inferno, the original. Visceral were also the EA divison behined Dead Space 1&2, as well as Dante’s Inferno (just to spell everything a little clearer). Also, in response to my opening comment, the first Inferno game was (loosley) based on only the first canticle of the Divine Comedy, so there is still quite a lot of source material to cover there. Dante’s Purgatorio anyone?
