RUMOUR: Xenoblade Chronicles releasing in US next year

There’s been a lot of outrage at the fact that Xenoblade Chronicles might never be released in North American markets, but if a recent rumour is to be believed, it might just get a release in NA after all.

A NeoGAF poster posted this image of what appears to be a shot of GameStop’s- US retailers- database. It shows the upcoming releases. Monolith’s RPG will be releasing on the Wii on April 3 next year, according to this database. It also appears that it’ll be a GameStop exclusive.

VG247 claims that they called up GameStop and the salesperson confirmed this story, and the fact that Xenoblade Chronicles is indeed coming to the States. Nintendo has made no official announcement yet, but they have posted artwork of the game on their Facebook page, giving more strength to the rumour.

We reviewed Xenoblade Chronicles some time ago, because some of us were lucky enought to have it officially released in our region early. In our review, we gave it a solid 9.5/10, calling it “the rebirth of an entire genre” and ” the best JRPG to have been released this generation.”
