Samurai Shodown burst back onto the scene earlier in the year. The game not only saw the return of the legendary series, but also SNK as a developer. The game has been a hit on the PS4 and Xbox One, and will launch tomorrow for Google Stadia. It’s also slated to come to the Nintendo Switch, and today we know when we’ll get that in the west.
The Switch version of the game was announced to be coming to Japan near the end of this year. Unfortunately, unlike the other versions, the western release won’t come as close to the Japanese release. As seen in the video below, it seems the western release will come at the beginning of next year. As of now, there’s no delay announced for the Japanese version so as of now it’s still slated to release December 12th.
Samurai Shodown is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will launch with Google Stadia. The Switch version will release Q1 2020.
